Aero-thermal analysis of combustor/turbine interaction in aero-engines: the challenge of today

The results of a reference steady RANS simulation are available for download on the portal in Tecplot (ASCII) and Ensight formats. Such results were obtained with the SST k-ω turbulence model. Details on the approach followed for modelling the combustion process are reported in [3]. The following variables are contained in the results files (only the mass fractions of the main chemical species composing the mixture are included):

Cartesian coordinates [m], absolute pressure [Pa], static temperature [K], turbulent kinetic energy [m2/s2], mass fraction of CH4 [-], mass fraction of N2 [-], mass fraction of CO2 [-], mass fraction of H2O [-], mass fraction of O2 [-], velocity components [m/s].
